Ever had a morning when, after getting practically no sleep, you get up late and rush everyone and finally get everyone out the door on time? Although at least one child is mad, everyone got to school on time? Well, when you run a household of 10 that just doesn't work.
It seems like I was up all night. My mind just wouldn't shut off. I have turned it over and over in my mind, trying to figure out how I can go home to be with my mom and dad and still keep things running here. I could fly out at 6 p.m. one night stay one full day and come back early the next. I could drive home one night with the 2 babies, they would sleep but then I have to find babysitters in Lufkin. I could drive home one night with the 2 babies and Morgan....no easy solution.
Now I am sure I have 2 teachers, out of the 5, that think I stink as a parent. My oldest is supposed to be at school at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesdays for tutoring. We missed 2 weeks in a row.
Could it be the fit that said child threw last night had something to do with us getting up late? Who knows.
Anyway...I'm starting this day over right now. Take that devil!
Bible study starts tonight, no matter what!

What's in the name?!
Names, do you like yours? Do you hate your given name? Have you ever thought about what you might change it to?
This has been a hot topic at our house lately. The petition for adoption has been filed, we are in the midst of all the paperwork and hoops that are required. Today's topic was, "what would you like your name to be?" One of the many suggestions was "Precious."
I believe we have nailed down all 4 names...Joseph Coy Marmon, Mia Cait Marmon, Emily Sondra Marmon and Gabriella Amy (she wants it spelled Ammy) Marmon.
We have sought and received advice from people who know and are on both sides of adoption issue. In the end we have decided to change their entire name.
We are currently recruiting prayer warriors to help us get through this large life change. The devil continues to meddle and attempt to stress us out. Only God can provide all we need for this continued journey.
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound...

Happy New Year
Wow, can anybody believe it is now 2011?! I cannot belive we have now been in Lubbock for over year, then again I cannot believe it hasn't been longer. Funny how that works.
The girls went back to school today, I had great plans but really didn't do much. I received a call from my best friend growing up, and from another foster parent from Lufkin! All in all it was a pretty relaxing and good day.
We have a busy week planned next week. Visit with the lawyer (adoption), court date for our 4 darlings and then on Tuesday the dreaded visit with my specialist to find out what is wrong with me. Shall we start a list?
Lots of prayers going up around here, decisions to make, blessings to receive and always full of anticiation for what God has planned. Please joing us in praising God for the daily blessings he continues to bring our way.
